TE Certified Electricians Buckhead installs GFCI protected outlets in your home
GFCI devices are a National Electrical Code requirement for bathrooms, kitchen counter tops, garages, exterior
outlets, pools, spas, docks, boathouses, fountains, wet bar sinks, and wherever water and electricity are present.

Many Buckhead homes are without essential GFCI receptacles and breakers! Georgia recently adopted the National Electrical Code (NEC)
guidelines for GFCI's by making it State Law to have GFCI protection in all newly constructed and renovated homes. The US Consumer Protection
Agency has found that more than one-half of all household electrical deaths nation-wide could have been prevented with GFCI devices!

If you are uncertain whether you have GFCI devices or if they work correctly, a TE certified technician in Buckhead can verify that all existing GFCI
devices are ready to work for you at a moment's notices (within about 1/40th of a second) and install new ones where needed.

Test your GFCI devices monthly by pressing the "TEST" and "RESET" buttons on the face of the device. The power to the outlet should shut-off
immediately upon pushing the center button that is labeled "TEST." Restore power to the device by pressing the "RESET" button.

We install only name brand top quality UL listed Legrand/Pass & Seymour GFCI devices. Many electricians get devices from local home improvement
stores or online from China. While these cost less initially, they have a higher likelihood of malfunctioning and costing more later.

Did you know? GFCI devices installed outdoors can internally corrode and fail! If you have an outdoor GFCI, look for the "weather resistant" (WR) label
that is not only required by Georgia law but saves you the time and expense of costly breakdowns. Many contractors cut corners by installing indoor
GFCIs outside. If you are having trouble with your outdoor GFCI, this could be why. Call us to fix it!
